Two days ago, 10 minutes apart, 2 fellow bloggers nominated me for 2 different blogging awards. Isn’t that nice?!
I’m really flattered, but a skosh overwhelmed – each of these awards require nominating others (25 total) for the awards, and I’m such a newbie, I don’t have a big blogging network yet. When I lamented this to one of the women, Michelle Anderson, she said I deserve the recognition and should take it, even if I have to bend the rules. I’m on it!

The WordPress Family Award was created to honor the blogging family we make in WordPress. I’ve had to pause after writing that sentence because there is family here, and I am so grateful to be part of it. I have found a community of fellow seekers who have welcomed me with open arms and encouraged me to speak my truth over and over again. Now that’s a great family!
It’s exciting to have found like-minded souls in such a short amount of time – and I’m grateful to play some small part in helping others on their journeys of self-discovery.
